This morning VICE editor-in-chief Rocco Castoro almost missed his 10 AM call time for his first appearance on the Daily Beast's Newsbeast show due to his cabbie pretending to not know where the West Side Highway is located. He arrived with minutes to spare (i.e., not enough time for the makeup person to cover up the cut that mysteriously appeared on the bridge of his nose over the weekend—Rocco, if you need to talk about something we're here for you, buddy). It was the second edition (check out the first with VICE executive creative director Eddy Moretti) of what Newsbeast host John Avalon is colloquially referring to as VICEBeast. Today's topic centered around Vice President Joe Biden's "put y'all in chains" gaffe that dropped out of his mouth yesterday like a pair of ill-fitting dentures. Rocco posits that Biden is the Andy Kaufman of the Democratic Party, which will be the most epic troll ever if it turns out to be true.
